Department of International and Business Law is a community dedicated to academic experience and education of our students. We provide our students the insights, confidence, skills and the courage to find fulfillment in the law and politics. At our Department, faculty and students as well as short-time visitors join together to develop unique academic community of intellectual thoughts-exchange.
Our faculty consists of leading scholars of law, politics, development assistance, as well as articled practitioners in various areas of law and politics. More than thirty full-time professors are involved in the Department’s educational activities each year. Dozens of adjunct lecturers, visiting professors including practicing lawyers are also part of our academic team. They contribute to developing your scholarly study of law and politics, providing you with an education that will lead to your high performance after graduation. Conferences and events are planned throughout the year, showing you exceptional opportunity to accept academic thoughts.
In addition to our native field of Law and Politics, We prepare cross-discipline research and educational activities. Our Department belongs to the Graduate School of Social Sciences, Yokohama National University. Faculty and students of our Department keep close research relationship with other academic disciplines, such as Business Management, Financial Accounting, Economics, and exchange views to each others.
