Areas of research interest
My research interests include theoretical issues in the making of international law, with a focus on international law on climate change. In my work, I analyze the challenges of international law as humanity tackles climate change problems.
Furthermore, I work to understand the realities of psychiatric care in Japan through collaboration with domestic NGOs. Additionally, I conduct research on international human rights standards in psychiatric care and on international human rights standards concerning climate change.
Class content
My lectures focus on topics related to international law, international environmental law, and international human rights law. Moreover, I will share my experiences from international conferences I attended during my research, as well as my experiences working with NGOs in my lecture.I conduct seminars for students in master's and doctoral programs to enhance their skills in reading and analyzing literature, including prior research.
